Tuition & Financial Aid
AFFORDIABLE THEOLOGICAL TRAINING
We believe that theological education is a lifelong investment and that no graduate of CORS should be shackled with heavy student loan debt. We therefore strive to keep our degrees highly affordable, with our MDiv costing only 36% of what typical equivalent programs cost. Additionally, students who are members or residents at one of our partner churches receive a discount on tuition.
With the vibrancy of a growing college town drawing people not only from all over the U.S. but also from all over the world, the Auburn/Opelika area offers a wonderful context for ministry and missionary training. In addition to the area’s many healthy churches, the cost of housing is 25% lower than the national average.

SCHOLARSHIP & FINANCIAL AID
Christ our Redeemer Seminary does not participate in any federal or state student aid programs, but strives to make theological education accessible and affordable to people from a wide range of situations. Our 4:15 Program is designed to help students prepare for ministry without incurring additional debt.
4:15 Program Details
The apostle Paul once thanked the Philippian church for their financial partnership with him in ministry: "And you Philippians yourselves know that in the beginning of the gospel, when I left Macedonia, no church entered into partnership with me in giving and receiving, except you only." Philippians 4:15
In a similar way, we believe that ministry, including ministry training, is not meant to be done alone. Students in the 4:15 Program bring a team along with them who pray for and financially contribute to their theological education. Students, in turn, receive equipping in biblical models of stewardship and fundraising, and have the opportunity to strengthen ties with sending churches and supporters. By raising funds through the 4:15 Program, all gifts made by your donors are tax-deductible.
