CORS GRADUATE STUDENT INTERNSHIP

We are looking for a proactive individual who is detail oriented with strong organizational, research, and communication skills to serve as an administrative assistant. 


This is a part-time position open only to CORS MDiv or MA students. It will require ~20 hours/week. A/V, social media, podcast editing, LMS management, and other skills in digital technologies are a plus. 


Internships & Residencies with Local Partners


Christ Our Redeemer Seminary partners with local churches and ministries to provide leadership development pathways for aspiring leaders. While each opportunity is different, they allow people to participate in our training programs while gaining on-the job ministry experience.


  • Internships tend to be shorter (~1 year), have a lighter work load, and aim to help people discern the Lord's calling.
  • Residencies tend to be 2-3 years long, have significant ministry responsibilities, and are more focused on preparing people for vocational ministry.

CHURCH RESIDENCY PROGRAM

The Church Residency, in partnership with Christ Our Redeemer Seminary (CORS), is a three-year, full-time apprenticeship designed to equip the next generation of pastors, church planters, missionaries, and ministry leaders. Rooted in the life of the local church and integrated with rigorous seminary education, the residency provides a unique environment where theological learning is immediately applied and refined through hands-on ministry experience.


Residents participate in a holistic formation process—combining biblical and theological study, heart-level mentoring, and practical ministry training—modeled after Paul’s mentorship of Timothy. The program draws upon the Reformed evangelical tradition to equip Christlike leaders for a missionary encounter with culture. 

CHURCH INTERNSHIP PROGRAM

The Christ Our Redeemer Seminary (CORS) Church Internship is a two-semester apprenticeship designed for Christians who sense a call to ministry leadership and seek to explore holistic formation within the local church. This partnership between CORS and local congregations integrates theological education, heart-level mentoring, and hands-on ministry experience. The internship is designed to set interns on a lifelong path of apprenticeship to Jesus Christ and provide wise counsel for discerning vocational calling and next steps.


Duration: Two semesters (academic year)

Seminary Coursework: Enroll in CORS Certificate Program (5 hours/week: class, reading, assignments)


Church Ministry: 10–15 hours/week serving in various ministry areas


Total Weekly Commitment: 15–20 hours

MISSIONARY

FAMILY SUPPORT ROLE

Join an experienced missionary family among unreached peoples in East Asia for 1-2 years as a "family support partner."


This family is in need of extra support during a transition phase to a new area. The primary responsibility will be to provide homeschool support for their children. You will gain cross-cultural ministry experience while learning about missionary life among the unreached.


This position begins with pre-field training and then a move to Asia sometime between August 2025 and January 20256.

CIRCLES COACH

The Circles Coach is a leader whose primary role is to work within the Circles community, supporting Circle Leaders, Allies, and volunteers. The Coach is the person on whom participants and volunteers call when they have questions or concerns within the Circles community.


The Coach has experience working with diverse socio-economic communities, a deep knowledge of poverty, skills in community organizing and volunteer management, and an awareness of the social service resources in the community.
