Challenge yourself this summer
Be intentional about growing as a disciple of Jesus Christ and join us this summer for one of our intensive courses.
Summer Intensive Courses
A Summer Intensive Course at Christ Our Redeemer Seminary is more than a class. It’s a focused, immersive experience designed to deepen your faith, sharpen your thinking, and strengthen you in your calling to make disciples. You’ll dive deeply into an area of study, earn graduate-level seminary credit, and engage in rich conversations alongside as a community of learners.

Evangelism
Do you want to grow in your ability to tell others about Jesus? Our evangelism course explores a missional theology of evangelism for our secular cultural context. It combines a two-day in-person immersive experience led by one of our faculty, required reading from some of the best thinkers in the field today, and personal evangelism over the course of the summer.
You will be equipped to humbly, relationally, regularly, and boldly share the good news of Jesus Christ in a skeptical world.
Besides the Bible, the key texts for this course include the Drama of Scripture by Craig Bartholomew and Michael Goheen, and Evangelism in a Skeptical World by Sam Chan.

Discipleship
“Disciple,” “make disciples,” “discipleship”—these are common words among Christians. Most Christians know that being and making disciples is somehow really important. But what do we mean by these words? Does our meaning line up with the biblical one? More importantly, do our lives line up with Jesus’ call to be and make disciples? And how, exactly, are we supposed to do that in our context? These are important questions for us to consider, especially as we aspire to leadership in the church. Through a mixture of interactive lectures, readings, and practical assignments, this course will explore three main questions: (1) What is a disciple? (2) How did Jesus and the apostles make disciples? and (3) How can we make disciples in our day?
