Missional Residencies with Local Partners
As you prepare to follow the Lord’s call on your life, wouldn’t you like to apprentice under experienced leaders in the context of mission? Wouldn’t you also want the apprenticeship to incorporate the biblical, theological, and missiological rigor and depth of a seminary program?
If so, consider a residency program with one of our partner churches or ministries. We offer two residency tracks. The ministry residency is for those preparing for vocational ministry in the church or parachurch. The missionary residency is a specialized missionary training program for those preparing for long-term cross-cultural missionary service. Rooted in the local church, these missional residencies are designed to equip the next generation of missionaries, church planters, pastors, and ministry leaders.
Missionary Residency
Our Missionary Residency Program is a full-time missionary training program for those called to cross-cultural ministry among the unreached. The three-year program coincides with the CORS MDiv or MAMT degree. Every aspect of this program is shaped by a missional vision designed to equip you to make disciples among the nations. The missionary residency weaves together robust theological formation, cross-cultural ministry experience, and communal life.
You’ll join a cohort of missionary residents, living and learning together in the same apartment complex as internationals, creating natural opportunities for evangelism and discipleship. Experience holistic training for the nations as you grow in knowledge, Christlike character, and cross-cultural ministry skills.
Ministry Residency
Our Ministry Residency Program is a full-time apprenticeship rooted in the local church for those called to be pastors, church planters, and ministry leaders.
The three-year program coincides with the CORS MDiv or MAMT degree. As a partnership between CORS and local congregations, the seminary and church serve as God’s instruments in the formation process as you prepare for a lifetime of ministry service.
